Contrinex Extra Distance sensors now include IO-Link v1.1 as standard
Thanks to a new ASIC, all Contrinex’s inductive sensors with long operating distances ‒ the EXTRA DISTANCE (500 series) family ‒ now include an integral IO-Link v1.1 interface in PNP NO versions. This upgrade applies to devices from the Basic, Miniature, Extra Pressure and High Pressure ranges. IO-Link gives access to the control and monitoring functions of Industry 4.0, which allow maintenance costs to be reduced and system availability increased. Analog Output sensors have also been upgraded with the new ASIC and now offer outstanding temperature and EMC performance at an attractive price.
