Product Manager (W/M)

Contrinex is a global manufacturer of inductive and photoelectric sensors, RFID systems and safety light curtains. The company is a technology leader in the field of intelligent sensing and identification solutions for factory automation, including the harshest operating conditions and most extreme space limitations. Contrinex is leading in position sensors for Industry 4.0 applications.

We are looking to reinforce our Product Management team at our HQ in Switzerland, with a:

 

PRODUCT MANAGER (w/m)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product lifecycle management

· Manage products lifecycle (launch, upgrade, phase-out)

· Preparation of marketing material with Marketing team

· Communication to Sales team and subsidiaries

· Definition of prices and discounts for subsidiaries

Sales & Technical support

· Coordinate product customization projects for customers, with Sales and R&D

· Create content for application cases, success stories and give trainings to Sales

· Products and roadmap presentations in Sales meetings

· Push the PM’s products into the sales organization

· Visit fairs and customers globally, to build product and application knowledge

Market analysis and technology watch

· Analysis of competitors’ portfolio, market prices and trends

· Identify new segments to target and propose portfolio adaptations

· Technology watch

PROFILE

· BSc/MSc in industrial technologies, electrical/electronics engineering, microengineering, or equivalent

· 3+ yrs experience as Product Manager, Technical Support, Marketing Engineer, or equivalent

· Previous experience in working with Agile methodologies

· Industry experience in automation, sensors or software

· Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Passion for technology, with customer focus mindset

· Strong communication and follow-up skills, enjoys taking initiative and interacting with stakeholders

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French and/or German
