We are looking for a smart Engineer with sales and marketing skills, experience in industry automation and willing to develop further in Product Management. He will build relationships and drive projects with R&D, Sales, Operations and customers. He will execute our strategy to gain new markets with sensors for general automation and Industry 4.0 applications.

Global Product Manager (w/m)

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSABILITIES

Market analysis and technology watch

• Analysis of competitors’ portfolio, market prices and trends
• Identify new segments to target and propose portfolio adaptations
• Technology watch

Product families definition and development

• Write specifications, define costs, sales forecasts and pricing
• Project proposal redaction and project follow-up
• Maintain product data/documentation

New products launch and follow-up

• Preparation of marketing material with Marketing team
• Communication to Sales team and subsidiaries
• Definition of prices and discounts for subsidiaries
• Manage products lifecycle (launch, upgrade, phase-out))

Sales support and business development

• Coordinate product customization projects for customers, with Sales and R&D
• Create content for application cases, success stories and give trainings to Sales
• Products and roadmap presentations in Sales meetings
• Push the PM’s products into the sales organization
• Visit fairs and customers globally, to build product and application knowledge

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/MSc in industrial technologies, electrical/electronics engineering, microengineering, or equivalent
• 3+ yrs experience as Product Manager, Technical Support, Marketing Engineer, or equivalent
• Industry experience in automation, sensors or software
• Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for technology, with customer focus mindset
• Strong communication and follow-up skills, enjoys taking initiative and interacting with stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French and/or German
