For our headquarter in Corminboeuf (Fribourg, Switzerland), we are looking for a

Chief Financial Officer
80-100%

Reporting to the CEO, this position will take full responsibility for all finance and accounting matters concerning the current and future state of the group’s business in Switzerland and overseas.  Key to success will be the ability to provide pragmatic and commercially relevant advice, guidance, and solutions at all levels of the organization. The CFO plays a key leadership role across the group, actively bringing to life the group's vision, values, and strategy, and driving the ongoing growth and transformation.

 The tasks include:

  • Prepare and communicate financial plans, forecasts, business plans and statements
  • Manage the group liquidity planning and treasury management
  • Report on financial status, KPIs, trends and projects to the CEO and the Board
  • Provide finance and control support for subsidiaries
  • Ensure financial, tax and social security compliance in all group companies
  • Monitor and lead mitigation initiatives regarding financial and compliance risks
  • Manage relationships with banks, leasing and insurance companies
  • Lead the annual audit for all legal entities
  • Lead the group consolidation (16 entities)
  • Lead strategic projects
  • Manage and negotiate the group insurance policies and ensure a “state of the art” coverage
  • Oversee VAT and customs audits
  • Lead the accounting and finance team (Note: 3 persons in HQ, 1 person in Dubai, 4 persons in Budapest, 2 persons in China)

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior financial role, of which 5 years as CFO or Head of Finance of a significant Business Unit
  • Swiss certified auditor diploma (Expert-comptable / Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer)
  • Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
  • Significant work experience in an export-oriented manufacturing industry
  • Fluent in English; Basic German and/or French would be helpful
  • Excellent reputation, no criminal records
  • Swiss or EU national
  • Ability to work independently in an ambitious and demanding group
  • Senior profile welcome (+50)
